A Taste of Lean
Overall course aim
At this half-day taster session a team will learn some Lean basics, choose a problem and, using Lean skills, develop an action plan to make an improvement together.
Topics covered
- What is Lean thinking?
- Understanding the value you provide
- What wastes get in the way?
- Choosing the problem to work on
- The Plan-Do-Check-Adjust approach
- Diving into the Plan stage for your problem
Attendees will agree an action plan they can implement and a way of measuring success. I will provide documentation of the plan.
Who is the course aimed at?
Any small team (~ 3-7 people) who would like to improve how they work together to deliver value.
